anybody make custom tunes and use the diablo as an upload media like we do with the sct?? just curious, my roomate dose this with his diablo for his cobra and gets email tunes

Diablo does not and WILL NOT make any custom tunes for it. Trust me I have tried many times /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

There IS a way to get a custom tune with the diablo....
it's in the manual....
but like others have said - it's not profitable nor preferred by many...

and since many have offered suggestins as best they could and you felt the need to slam all that tried....

maybe YOU should do it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

how can it not be profitable of practical??? there is no difference between this and the sct as far as what they can do.....so why is it profitable to do it with the sct and not predator??? while im on a rant im going to say a few words that i think everyone can profit from.. my hobby is cars and trucks, its what i do, im a member of pirate4x4.com svtp.com and the vice prez of the OK chapter of ford truck world...and in my life i have never seen a website that is so uninformative, mainly because of the people...it always seems to be a pissing match around here guys!! someone posts up a simple question such as the egr study post and then it goes back and forth like a couple of 2nd graders would do trash talking and quoting this and that warping words like mike moore....the main reasons we cant get anywhere with this engine is because everybody trashes everyone else and no real info is exchanged!!! another gripe of mine is that i cant trash talk companys products or else my post will be deleted. *** it the deal with that [censored]??? if i run a chip and it sucks major ass and the companys customer service blew, wouldnt yall all like to know as well before one of you could go and make the same mistake??? also whats with the posts getting deleted that have to do with removal of emissions equipment?? i dont know who to direct this gripe to...moderator mabey?? whats the deal?? it is illegal to remove or tamper with emissions equipment, but were doing it not you and you cant be held liable for what we do. plus this is a public forum where ideas can be spread, and as far as i know we all have the freedom of speech in public forums, unless this site is hosted out of north korea....humm mabey thats the problem, its my truck and i will cut off the cat if i want and disable my egr if i want and i should be able to tell people i did it without gettin my post deleted!! i hope this clears the air about some things on here, i would like a response from the moderators on this topic.....anyways im dont with this, im going back to ford truck world and pirate 4x4 where i can actually learn something!!!

why dont you just sell the diablo and buy an SCT? you could prolly pawn it off on one of your buddies over there. and its not like the SCT is outrageously priced...
