Never really noticed this with my stock exhaust and muffler delete but now with my new exhaust I can hear a whole lot more. To describe the sound its like a clogged carb on a gasser. It only does it under acceleration and while boost rises. Ex. Going up a hill doing 60 with cruize set, boost will climb engine will get louder and will start to make this sound, almost feels like its running out of fuel and slowly loosing power. (No jerking or surging going on) Just seems to do it when ever the boost gets above 15 psi. I put the black international 1821720C99 CPS in 5k ago. Just changed oil, I have been running Rotella 5-40 for the winter. Changed fuel filter then too. Always starts up fine, nice idle and fuel millages is ok for the winter at 13 mpg. Truck has 120k on the dash. I have access to a scan tool, anything I could look for with it? Open for any suggestions. Just want to throw this out there because I am going on a 1500 mile trip with snowmobiles behind next week. Thanks guys.

i believe the schrader valve is supposed to have 55 pounds ? could be a fuel loss problem also heard the tank screen on the pickup tube can get partially clogged esp. if you run veggie oil, as it cleans the gunk off the tank lining and will act like that....but before getting serious check things like fuel pressure...

my buddys truck did it but was because he had stage 2 injectors, when you start giving it juice it putters out a little and feels like its losing fuel, a new fuel system upgrade fixed his prob

Thanks for the reply. I am going to start at the tank and work forward. I had the tank down when I put my Airdog on about 4 months ago, but who knows what could have gotten in there. I did the harpoon mod and the intank fuel mod and removed the mixing valve. Is there people not running the screen on the pickup foot? Is there a way of checking fuel pressure with a scan tool? No veggie oil has been run in my truck as far as I know. Just a little side question, what happens if my overboost annihilator is set to low like 10-15 psi? Thanks in advance
