I am out of ideas. Need some help. When i drive down the road my truck is ok at first then after about 15 mins it starts cutting out and the check engine light comes on and the pedal quits workin and drops to an idle. but as soon as the check engine light goes off the truck works again for a minute. then back to the same ordeal. ive checked the oil, replaced the throttle pedal assembly, and fuel filter. i was going to get the code pulled but it doent stay on long enought.
i replaced the pedal assembly. and the symptoms havent changed since it all started after fueling up the other day. sorry but im kinda new as this was is IVS stand for?
no it doesnt stay on long enought to get it checked. it goes on and off. and it seems like everytime i pull in somewhere to get it checked it goes off.
it idles great and the connecter is good i checked it out just a little bit ago and even put some electrical grease on it. took it for a drive and the same thing happens. althought it didnt seem as bad as it was before. it still cuts out but it seemed to come back quicker. and the cruise control doesnt cut out at all. im lost!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
