I got a D60 to put back in my dually (long story on why it was missing) but it didnt come with the bottom bracket on the driver side that is molded to fit around the housing and the ubolts go through. Anyone know where to pick one of those up?

He should but if not he'll know where to get some. Why old stock ones when you can get HD aftermarkets for about $250 ea?

Bean, I found one on Car-Part.com pretty easily. Just looked at the places that had axles listes as busted housing -parts only and called them. No way to sort it out on line.

Thanx I will check it out, got the axel off car-part. Them yards can be a real PITA to deal with long distance. Most of the time I get stuff that dont work or os missing parts and it usually shows up much later then its supposed to.

Yeah, I hear you there. I was really lucky on my front axle, I got it from NC and the place was great to work with. I had plenty of time to work on the project and called them several times before saying go. I did find out that western Canada and the Pacific Northwest seem to have the highest number of axles. I had the cast # on the part and got it from a truck only place in Portland Ore. No issues. Hope this helps.

Yes, that's the piece that goes below the axle on the drivers side.

They're discontinued and Powerstrokeshop doesn't have any in stock and can't get them.

My truck was down for over a week because of that dang thing. I called everyone and then some to try and find it. Found extremaxlesales.com and saw they had one and called but dont have it anymore. He called me a day later and found one for me and just got it on tonight. At least give him a call and let him know your looking for one, good guy to deal with.
