I live in Canada...and have a 2003 ford F-350 crew cab King Ranch...during the first week and @ 6 months and then at 1 year I had the dreaded "bell housing leak "..they never could fix it.

Now my basic warranty expiredlast month (Canadian warranty is 3 years ) so now what????

I still have the 5 year motor warranty??? Does this cover it???

Any ideas...last month it was both upper ball joints worn out at 42,000 KMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif

WHAT is the cost to fix this leak??? what is it???

pissed in the Pond !!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sick.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sick.gif

I'm not sure of the difference between US and Canada as far as warranty is concerned. I know in the states the engine is covered for 5 years/100K miles so your leak would be under warranty.

I'm on my 3rd leak now since the 20K mile mark. The bellhouse was bone dry up to 20K. They replaced the CPS sensor o-ring the first time. The RMS the second time. I just wiped off the bellhouse again. It is actually wetter than it has ever been. I was going to let it go, but my wife is pissed now (She actually said something about getting a new truck...). I will check the bellhouse again later this week. If it is wet again, I'll be taking it to the dealer next week. It's almost due for an oil change (5000 miles) but I'm going to wait a bit because this oil already has dye in it from the RMS repair.

I just had my 5th mainseal done and my bellhousing is dripping already, after 500 miles. I have 45.000 miles on the truck. 4th mainseal repair was done at 12.000 miles. I will be pursuing a buyback because I qualify for it. I sympthize with you. The Dealership has always said that everything looks just fine, but obviously something is wrong. It must be a bad crank or something. Hope they can find something with your truck and fix it!

I have an 05 Ex. Had the engine replaced at 5400 miles for defective block casting (oil leak at bellhousing). 500 miles on new engine and another bellhousing oil leak. Dealer said it was not assembly lube. They want to pull the new engine out. I am seeking buy back also. It has been in the shop for over 3 months total. I love paying $50k for a vehicle that drips oil on my driveway.

Had a small leak at the bellhousing. Almost 23,000 miles. Dealer said it was the rear main. They replaced it. I had a bigger leak than before. Went back 2 weeks later and they said that they did not put any sealer on the ring they put on the end of the crankshaft. The instructions with the seal kit did not say to put any sealer on the ring. Sealed the ring and road tested the truck. Qne more week to rebuild the transmission. "It failed just when they were fixing the oil leak." Ford paid for them tearing up my transmission. It just happened to seize the front bushing, damage the converter, and front pump at the time they were working on it. Wasn't there fault. At least it is not leaking at this time(almost a week). I guess I got a 30,000 mile trans service about 7,000 miles early.
