I have a 1997 hd ford f250 4x4 and I am wanting to know all the parts
nessary from a donor truck (leaf springs pitman arm etc) to convert to a dana 60 and what year of a truck to look for. any info or site to look at would be helpful

Most important pieces are the axle, springs, tie rods, track bar and track bar mount on frame, front driveshaft would be good also.

shackles, pitman should be same unless truck has aftermarket ones.

everything he said above but make sure if you find one that is not attached to a truck that it has the lower Driver side spring bolt bracket/piece! i believe the pitman arm on your F250 has a little drop, but is not a long as a stock straight F350. If you get it off a donor truck get the 4" blocks for the rear to level out.

if it is a donor truck then every single piece that touchs teh truck should be removed, all brackets swaybars etc, driveshaft and teh yoke from teh transfer case, everything
