From an old post, 194 LED bulbs would be one option, they are supposedly brighter.

Another option would be 168 bulbs which are standard bulbs but brighter than the 194.

This came from a post in the 6.9L diesel forum and, of course, would only apply if the bulbs in your truck are 194s.

Bulbs are white, the color comes from tint in the dash cluster.

It will work but it will change some of the colors in your dash display.

LED bulb for TS's

So I see you guys are replacing your bulbs with something brighter. As you all know, Ford has a poor design when it comes to placement of the turn signal indicators - right BEHIND YOUR HANDS !
I've been guilty of driving with my signal on for miles and I get annoyed at those OTHER people who do that, too.
What I want, since I can't move them to the middle of the cluster, is a SUPER BRIGHT green LED that will ALWAYS get my attention when I move my hands away from blocking the sightline.
Does anyone have any experience with a bright green LED that fits into the bulb socket ?
And don't suggest a bright white LED, since the wavelengths involved in the white LED does not pass thru the green filter well.
I want to use an LED so I never have to worry about replacing it.

And I want it BRIGHT, too
