DB Starter

Just installed a new DB Electrical starter. I have burned up a couple starters over the last couple years so I'm hoping this one will last. I ordered the higher torque,higher RPM model. It's almost twice the size and half the price. $150 delivered to Idaho. I had to do some grinding to the engine mount crossmember to get it to fit in there. Have any of you other guys who have installed a DB had to do anything to get it to fit?? Just wondering.

I just installed one on my 2000 this past weekend with no modifications. All I can say is WOW! the starter cranks the motor over like nothing.
