Have a 2012 6.7 F350. turbo went out had fixed. next day computer said had an injection problem. went to the dealer they said the DEF system was crystalized and the injectors were clogged. told me the DEF complete system would have to be replaced and the injectors cleaned or replaced. ask what DEF i used, told them PEAK. they then said I should have been using Ford DEF and i would not have had this problem. Anyone out there had this problem or know anything about such a problem.

All DEF is exactly this 32.5% urea and 67.5% Deionized WATER .... Dealer is full of *()& . Another Dealer drinking the Blue Oval Kool-Aid, FCA,GM,Ford all preach the same crap, its the poor design system thats the problem, If you Drop the DEF tank and take it to any Lab that will test the DEF, I'm confident it would be exactly as Stated Clear and healthy.

I started off using BlueDEF because I thought it was one of the better ones, but then switched to SuperTech ($7.88 for 2.5 gallons at WalMart). Ford only requires that DEF be API certified as shown the Diesel Supplement so it seems foolish on the tech's part to state that you have to use Motorcraft branded DEF:
