It is my understanding that I can use Delo ELC for 750,000 miles/8 years without any additive but I want to make sure. This is what Delo says in their Customer Benefits: "Long Service Life - 750,000 miles (1,200,000 km) on road use (8 years or 15,000 hours off-road highway use) or 1,000,000 miles/1,600,000 km/20,000 hours/8years with Delo FleetFix CME addition at 500,000 miles/800,000 km/10,000 hours/4 years." I have been using it for 4 years, but since I can't find the Delo FleetFix CME extender anywhere, I plan on using it for 750,000 miles/8 years and then doing a flush and change out. Is this right?

That is right. Very few of us will get the mileage limit, so we're really using the age. Best to do a flush at that point anyway.

Thanks RT...I am curious why no one sells the extender. Probably because the life cycle is so long why would one want to extend it?

They probably have it at the truck service centers. I doubt many drivers do their own maintenance anymore.

I called a local Delo distributor but they don't carry it and I would have to order a case of it for me. I only need a quart. So I said No Thanks and will go with my plan to do a flush and change out when time comes.
