How do you determine the Job #? I'm looking at purchasing a preowned 08' f450.

Open the driver's door and look at the Federal Certification Label on the bottom of the doorpost behind the driver's door. That label includes VIN, tire size and PSI, a bunch of codes for paint and axle, etc., and the month/year of production. Go by this rough guide:

Job 1 trucks were produced Jan thru Jun 2007
Job 2 = July thru Dec 2007.
Job 3 = 2008
