Hi guys,
As I'm travelling down I-5 this morning the truck loses power suddenly. It doesn't respond to any throttle input, and the CEL and Wait to Start lights are flickering on and off erratically. I shut the key to off, restart, and dies when put into gear. Restart again and everything is OK.
Oil level is ok, battery connections are clean and tight, no fuel leaks. There was a couple times in the past two months where it seems the IVS was not working properly and it would suddenly go to idle when motoring down the road. To be honest, I don't remember hearing the IVS clicking today as I'm trying to get the engine to get back up to speed.
Any ideas? I'm confused by the flickering WTS and CEL lights. Sounds electrical to me.
