OK, guys...give me some ideas here. I'm pretty new to diesels (just bought the truck a few weeks ago), I've noticed that lately after the truck is good and warm, that the truck cranks longer before it fires up. Example, on my way home from work today I stopped to get fuel. When I hopped back in the truck to take off, the engine cranked over for a couple seconds before she fired up. Yes, I waited for the "wait to start" to go off. (The amb. temp was near 90 degrees also.) The engine cranks and starts great when the motor is cold. Any ideas what could be causing this? The truck has 44,000 miles on it and has had dino oil in it since new...recently changed too. Fuel filter is new also.
HPOP leaking down? Oil getting thin in hotter temps? Glow pug relay?
