Guys I am ready to change my gear oil in the front and rear diffs. I purchased royal purple 75w90 for the front and 75w140 for the rear. I have a limited slip, now my question is do I still need to add the friction modifier, even though i am using a synthetic? On the bottles it says not for use with wet clutch packs. Can someone please shed some light on my situation? Amsoil site does not help either, already checked it. thanks:thumbsup:

I guess all of the do it to your selfers, haven’t done it to them selves, yet? And the know it all would go to the Royal Purple site and not the Amsoil site. Look at the link below. Lets us know how you like it!!

Going off of what Royal Purple's website is saying I would not add the modifier. That said, if you change it out and are getting chatter around corners I would add some.

I had the dealer replace my rear diff fluids and they put the modifier in. I let them do it since i was not sure how much to put in.
