Took the truck in for an alignment the other day and the tire shop said they could not align my truck because the yolk on the differential house was worn out.(where the lower ballpoint goes through the knuckle then into the housing yolk) as anyone seen this before or is it even possible? To me it just looks like the nut
On the ball joint needs to be tightend(comparing to lower ball joint on opposite side of truck) was just going to tighten it down and take to a different tire shop for alignment and see what they say.

If the nut has loosened on the lower ball joint, it may have actually worn the tapered hole in the axle housing. Maybe that's what they were referring to. If that's the case, even a new ball joint wouldn't fix it, as the ball joint location wouldn't be correct. There may be a way to ream the hole to clean it up and install a tapered sleeve in it to get it back to spec, but that would be a pretty involved process if it even exists. It would also be possible to have a driveline shop remove the axle housing end and weld another in it's place, but that would take some pretty accurate locating to get that right. Probably would involve removing the axle from the truck. It might be easier and cheaper to find a complete replacement axle at a wrecking yard.
BTW, eggs have yolks, but axles have yokes. :winking:
Good luck with it.
