Okay ,under stock tune no smoke. Engine is getting enough air. But when using 65 hp tune you get smoke. Sounds like turbo lag. Turbo compressor upgrade may not be an up grade as thought. requiring more drive pressure to drive or inefficient . The haze is your clue. Not enough air molecules surrounding the fuel molecules for complete burn. Haze can also be lack of fuel atomization especially when going to larger injector nozzles. But the turbo sounds like the only change in this case. It's the compressor change. It would be very interesting to see if a WW2 in stock turbo setup would fix your issue.

Turbo should spin faster and compensate some for thinner air.
