Did the site disappear today?? I couldn't get access from @ 1 pm to now. Just curious because my computer has not been functioning properly for the past 4 days. It must think that its Y2K already!!

Also- since the "NEW" forum changes has taken place, why doesn't the post topic change to black anymore after I have read it, ( it stays blue).

Also, on the front page it used to say when the last time was that I was on the site, it has been stuck on 6/8/99 for a long time. Does anyone know if that is on my end or the sites end??

I had some problems this afternoon with my network.

For your other problem, click the Preferences link at the top of this page. Then, click the link to delete all your cookies. That should take care of it. You can then go back into preferences and tell it to save your name and password and how many days worth of messages you want to see.

Thanks for responding Jason. I did what you said about the preferences but it did not fix either of the "problems". I like it when the post changes to black after I have read something - hope I can get that back.

( I am using this quote thing for the 1st time, I hope it comes out alright)

You can also go the EDIT - PREFERENCES - APPEARANCE - COLORS and under the LINKS section, select the colors you want for read and unread links. To use your colors, click the box the overide the web site colors.

He's refering to the path necessary to take you to the spot to make changes for a Netscape Browser. In IE it is under the tools, internet options menu.

OK- I have found the edit tab and have made the changes/ adjustments, (re-applied) that were already there. Nothing has changed on my screen. Even the light bulbs that show new post since you were here last stay on all the time. The highlighted main topics (general questions, upgrades and aftermarket, etc) change colors but not the topics after entering the main ones. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it all on MY end?
