A buddy bought a used 02 Excursion PSD Limited and he doesn't know the keypad code. ANy help to find it? Thanks!

Dealer can run the VIN and get the code to the security system. You can reprogram the code to his choosing, steps are in the manual.

He bought it used 80K miles and no frinkin manual either.

You can get the Owners Manuals Here. Hover on the Maintenance tab and then click on Owner Manuals. Drill down from there for the vehicle.

If he can find the module (Not sure where it is)the code is on a sticker.

YUP!! had the same problem, fix is to take it to the dealer sweet talk them and maybe get it done for free, I did, seein how I bought it from a dealer used. Then you can reprogram to your liking and have two codes, the one embeded in the pcm and the one you set. It takes thier special code reader. When you buy new or get all the paper work on a used it is with the paper stuff, otherwise you are SOL or dealer bound.

look under the dash for a box..it will have a white sticker on it. there will be a number printed in black ink, that is the code. if its not under the driver side, check under the passenger side...

It's under the module under passengerside kick panel you have to remove 2 or3 screws from the module to get to the back of it uou will most likely see the letter see and numbers below it that's your code
