I bought 4 lock actuators off of e-bay. Got the two into the passengers side, and it works great. Got the two into the drivers side, and they are not strong enough to move the locks. What do I look at? And the only OEM actuator that was working was on the drivers rear door. The new motor in that location does not move the lock.
Why both doors on the drivers side...

thanks

when you unhook the actuator from the lock mechanism, do they move fast? Is the lock mechanism overly stiff if you try to move it by hand (w/ hand inside the door shell)?

How about, take a multimeter, ground one end and probe the connector coming to each lock actuator (try passenger side first for reference voltage, then try driver's side to see if you have a bad connection somewhere. If I recall correctly, the power door lock wiring goes to the passenger side door first, then crosses over to get to the driver's side door. I may have that mixed up, but basically check for full voltage at all 4 lock actuator plugins to rule out problems in the wiring harness/connections.
