I recieved two commando lock acuators and will be installing them.
I did a search for an old post with pictures I had seen a long while back but had no luck finding it.
If anyone has info for this install I could use the help.

Just installed two today on my 2000 PSD. The only difficulty I had was knowing which wires connected where.
Here's what I found. There is a 4 wire loom running to the acuators. I stripped the sheath off and found two small wires and two large wires. The two large wires are color-coded...one has a black stripe. The Black Stripe connected to the green Commando Unit.
Everything else was very simple, I drilled two holes in each door to mount the Commando.
Done...easy do it yourself job.

Thanks. Does the other wire (blue) go to ground? I tried to call the company but the are not there weekends.

I recently had a problem with my door ajar lite, it ended up bieng the Vsm, anythow the dealer told me that the door lock actuators would be covered under warranty do to safty reasons at no charge? I thought that was cool, just lettin ya all know what I was told, Jim

JDR,
The Blue wire connected to the other heavier wire in the loom.
Hook them together and do a test trip, when the plunger goes up it should be with the unlock function.

the wires for the motor should be pink/black and pink/orange. the are 16-18 ga wire. the smaller wire is for the latch. if you hook up the wires wrong, the lock will unlock when you push the lock button. just reverse the wires.....

Done! At least the first one. Only took an hour, the others should be less. As recomended pink/black tracer goes to the green commando unit wire. The pink/orange went to the blue commando unit wire. I was able to use one hole in the door and drilled a second for the actuator. If I new how to post pic's I would for the next guy to do this.
