Today my passenger window was frozen. 20 deg. outside. After driving for an hour, the window went down. I found out it fell off the track. The track the bottom of the window sits in would not slide horizontally and the bottom of the window came out of the track.

Question:
Does the bottom of the glass sit in a bed of silicone inside the two clips that hold the glass at the bottom?

anybody have a wild guess what kind of silicone?
