So I just bought a 1997 F350 with a 7.3l powerstroke. Coming back from CastleRock Washington she moved very well. But the next day my brother said he noticed a leak. At first I thought that he was just complaining to complain. But after a moved it and drove to work I found that he was right. So I looked under the truck and found that it seems to be leaking from what looks like two flex hoses. So is there any common failure that would cause it to leak at the hard lines and flex hoses?

So age could cause the connection failure? So how would you go about fixing it?

If it's at the disconnect fittings, replace the o-rings. You will need a disconnect tool to do it. Cheers!
