Hey guys got a 2011 F250 and want the dpf to go bye bye. Looking at getting the SCT X4 competition tuner and just straight piping. My question is can i leave the egr junk intact for a little while and block it off later or do i have to do it at the same time as the dpf delete?

You can leave it in place for a little while. It won't hurt it. Just take care of the wiring.

For the job it takes to do it, i'd just get it outta the way and done with. Especially for how inexpensive these kit's are compared to some of the other trucks.

Diesel power products has one for as cheap as $162 with factory style hangers. Other places like xdp seem to be evenly priced with everyone else sitting around $275 with factory style hangers.

I'm lost on that. I emailed Innovative Diesel and SCT both with no luck. Both said the same thing that they can't do it because of EPA laws. I just ordered the SCT X4 from Rudys diesel that has delete tunes. I've also seen them @ dpf racing and dales super store. All places have the X4 for $775 and the Livewire for $950.
