I'm wanting to go drag racing but am not sure on how to launch the truck. From a dead stop now all I do is spin the tires. So anyone who has raced please let me know how to launch the truck properly.

Before anybody can really help you, we need to know your current set-up. Go to your "account" and update your signature with the information about your truck including any mods.

In my younger (dumb) days, I knew guys that used sand bags in the bed to hold the back end on the ground.

Try 4WD...if you have it? 2WD...air down tires (with weight as stated) or splurge on some slicks?

Wow ok, I didn't know it was so hard to answer a simple question. I was just seeing what others have done to get down the 1/4 mile. Next time I'll try to be more specific. O and if it helps it's a black truck.

I wasn't trying to slam you, but it helps a bunch to know what your working with in order to make any informed suggestions. Different strategy for take off if it's an auto vs manual. Sorry if I offended you.

Black? Your Screwed. LOL
Seriously though I would power brake to spool up the turbo a bit and launch in 4WD. Depending on if you take off in 2WD, 4WD and the air pressure your time could be a second different.

Removing teh rev limiter adn using lower profile tires will change things up too.
