My idiot light is on to drain the water from my filter. I must be stupid because I can not locate the filter or the drain valve. Any help? I have a 2003 F-350 6.0.

Its on the frame rail under the truck below the drivers seat. You will most likely need a 6mm Allen wrench to pull the drain plug. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And with the 03, it'll be brass. Be careful you don't strip it out. Get a replacement plug fro IH (I got mine at the Ford dealer - its for a Low Cab Forward, so they may have a bit of a timne finding it). It was only $16 and makes draining MUCH easier.

Both plugs are an o-ring seal, so they do NOT have to be reefed on to seal. just get them snug & you'll have a much easier time of it next time.
