The drivers side fromt Hub bearing on my 2002 F350 has started to make a loud noise . It sounds like the hub bearings have gone south . I will take it apart in the morning . Where is a good place to buy the hub bearing assembly ? The local Stealership is asking $550 ( not selling many cars or trucks so making it up in parts and labor ) .

Thanks for any help.

I've heard of guys going to Warn hubs on the SD's. I have them on my older trucks ('95 and '80) and they are great hubs with no issues.

Welcome to guzzle's Ford PSD Maintenance Web Page

If you are going to tear it down go there.

For the whole hub assemble, Azone for $360. If it's just the needle bearing it's a B2110 at NAPA or Azone for $10.76 . Just got 2 myself today.
The snap ring and O'ring from Ford is $16.

My local checker had them for 325 with the o rings. I tore into mine and found that they were ok, just REALLY needed greased up. Most of my noise was from the new calipers not releasing all the way. I figured since I was in there why not follow what's on Guzzle's site and lube them up. Guzzles is a great site, step by step instructions. It was really easy once I got into it. The hardest part was needing a larger set of snap ring pliers and a trip to NAPA fixed that.

He's talking wheel bearing/hubs, not locking hubs.

Man am I glad somebody asked this question. I've replaced two full assemblies, so far one on my own and one on a company truck, and was getting ready to do the other side on mine. Very good and money saving info.
I vote we make this a sticky or FAQ. At least for a little while

I got one from powerstrokeshop.com. It has less than 5000 miles on it and the seal is already leaking. They say Ford only warranties it for 6 months and doesn't cover leaking, so they won't cover it. Mine is about 9 or 10 months old. Buy it somewhere other than the STEALER. Get a Timken that will actually last for awhile and will give you a 1 year warranty. Don't get screwed like I did.
