PFFFA is your truck's attempt at giving you the raspberry - PFFFFT!
Actually, that's a false code given off when using a non-compatible device - like a tuner - to retrieve codes. What exactly did you get the codes with?
I was useing my Hypertech programer to get the pfffa code. I removed the program and used a Inova diagnostic code reader and had 1 code p0603 then I reinstalled my hypertech and recived code p0683 my check engine light was still on when I started the truck. This morning when I started my truck I didn't have a check engine light. Has the problem fixed itself??? Thanks for the help.:read:
p0603 is just the keep alive memory (KAM) error - not really a code and shouldn't make the light illuminate. It may just be the first code in the sequence and you're not able tor read the codes behind it. Can you clear the codes with either scanner you have? Maybe the real code will re-appear alone and allow you to pull it.
