Hopefully this isn't a dumb question but is it possible to do a dually conversion on my '93 ext. Cab? It wouldn't be to serve a purpose since obviously it would still be a 3/4 ton truck, but while im replacing the fenders and bed if I found a good set of dually fenders or even a dually bed id love to covert if possible for the looks. I think the obs duallies were one of the coolest looking dually bodystyles ever. If it is possible what would it take and what would be any pros/cons? Thanks!

All you'd need is a dually axle and rear parking brake cables because they're different for a dually. Spring perches MAY need to be moved. Having the spacers for the front wheels would be nice, but isn't necessary.

That's all it would take? That's nothing then there's a bunch of retired old duallies in the JY near here I could easily snag the axle, cables and fenders off. Would I find those wheel spacers on a dually or is that something I would need aftermarket? This is just an idea, first things first I've gotta get my drivetrain and suspension up to par and then do the body work.
