Hi all. I have 2002 f350 dually with 7.3 .I bought it new and wax her about once per month. She has been a awesome truck with no issues. Normal maintenance. Till now. I am stumped. Long story short, no throttle no gauges. On my truck that's fuse#45 but soon found out it was shifter causing problems. I changed it,and TPS,and injector relay, oh, and ECU which was $700. No change. Runs fine but no gauges or throttle. Wizards of smart camp here so please throw out an idea or 3. Oh and glad to be aboard forum.

You're right - fuse 45 should be the culprit. Have you verified the new fuse is intact with a voltmeter - not just holding it up and looking at it? If so, you may have burned a connection in that circuit somewhere. You're going to have to go testing with your meter. Try cutting the circuit in half each time to try and narrow down the issue. For example, check to see that 45 is getting power. If so, you've eliminated the supply side. On the other side of the fuse, a red wire with a yellow stripe branches to feed the cluster, the throttle position sensor, the OD button, the 4WD module, and one feed to the PCM. You could check for power at a few of those and see if they are getting fed. Somewhere there is a break in the circuit.

I discovered I have many fuses that show NO power on my meter and yet fuse tests good, and components work. Never saw that before. Is that telling me the fuse/power module is bad?

If the components work, how can it be bad? Unless theres a short that miraculously supplies power for those components from some were else. Wow would that be odd.

Did you check for power with the key on? A little unconventional, but I would try backfeeding fuse 45 with 12v+ to see if your throttle comes alive. That would verify it is a supply side issue. May be something as simple as the ignition switch.
