It is - with stock '03 Dooley wheels. But it sounds like TUF250 is willing to invest in new wheels to get bigger tires.

(I suspect kehale was thinking about '05-up and not an '03 Dooley.) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I don't have any idea how big you could go with custom Dooley wheels. The key would be to design the wheels to be wide enough for the new tires, and be offset enough that there would be no chance of the sidewalls touching between the duals when the truck is loaded for bear.

For example, if you wanted LT315/75R16 tires, you'd need wheels at least 8" wide to replace the stock wheels that are only 6" wide. And if you had the right wheels for dual 315s on the rear, you'd probably need to do some body work to push out the rear Dooley fenders. The only limit is your bank account. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If I were going to do something like that, I'd go to www.stocktonwheel.com and rely on their knowledge to design and build the right wheels for the tires I wanted.

I would have to ask how much tire do you want? and how much do you want to spend? You could spend nearly $6000, going with 19.5 wheels and be able to have duals up to 37" , but you need a lift. so what is it your really looking for?

I'm runnin 285 75 16s with no lift. The TRXUS 285s measure just under 34" on the stock wheels. Biggest on a stock height dually. I tried everything up to 35s. 35s fit if you plan on going in straight lines everywhere /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Yes. The "image" command is turned off on TheDieselStop.

The owner doesn't allow images to automagically pop up, because it slows down the website for everyone else. But you can post a link to your photo, and if the reader wants to see it he can click on the link.
