A friend of mine has just had his OD light start blinking on a 97' F-350. What does this mean??

It means something is wrong with the transmission. He needs to get the computer scanned for codes. With the codes we can figure out what's wrong. Without them all anyone can do is geuss.

I just changed the injector pump on my 93 with the E40D and my light blinks so I called up the tranny shop that rebuilt mine and they say that you have to have a computer adjust the TPS so now I gotta tow my truck in 100 to the shop so they can adjust it *sighs* anyway just thought I'd tell ya why mine blinks. I guess the TPS messes up the computer, they tell me it will ruin the tranny to drive it like that and to have it towed in

When mine started blinking, I brought it in and it had to have a new tranny put in, thank god it was still under warranty by 300 miles!!!
