i pulled the tranny out of my 1992 f250 and was about to install the tranny from my 1994 f250.i spun the tc from the 92 and i could hear a rattle sound in the tc.i tried to switch the tc from the 94 but it wont fit tight.could a broken tc cause the truck to act like it is in neutral? and why wont the tc from a 94 fit a 92.thanks

I would think there is something wrong with the TC if it rattles............

As for the 94 is it from an IDI or PSD.......

There is a requirement to align the new TC with the trans input shaft........
