Ok, looking to upgrade my turbo for my e99 by the end of the summer and I've done some research but have come to 2 options.

The first option is the drop-in D66 turbo and the second option is the Hypermax turbo setup with either the H2E or S300. I can get a D66 and non ebpv pedestal for around 1600 but the Hypermax is going to run me anywhere from 2600 to 2900 depending on options.

I've read good and bad one both but just looking for more info. I'm on stock fuel injectors and hpop at the moment and until I can save up some more money, that's what I've got. I have a TS Chip at the moment but I'm getting rid of it soon and getting a Hydrachip instead. My plans are turning it into a power making machine and keeping it until I can no longer get parts for it!

So, what does everbody think? Go with the D66 or bite the bullet and get the more expensive Hypermax? Thanks in advance!

injector size is the deciding factor.


1600 is pretty high for a d66.


you can get a DIY kc66 for 900 or the whole thing for 1200.

Yea, the D66 from Beans is 1400 and the non ebpv is around 170 I believe. I just rounded it up a little
