Trying to figure out what my problem is. I've been purchasing reman'd calipers from Advance Auto the past few times and the pistons seem to crack pretty easily. The calipers don't seem to release very well when the foot is taken off the pedal. Assuming it could be a hose issue, I cracked the bleeder and it didn't spray at me with any pressure (foot not in brake) so there isn't any built up pressure preventing them from releasing.

Could I have a master cylinder problem? For now, I decided to order Ford OEM calipers to see if that makes a difference.

Appreciate any thoughts on this.

Those hoses are probably old enough that you should just change them as well . Pretty cheap insurance. With the hydroboost on the 6.0L, there may be something going on there. I believe I've heard FMTRVT talk about rust getting between the hydroboost and the master cylinder and keeping it from releasing.
If your rebuilt calipers came with slide pins installed and you checked them for free movement that wouldn't be the issue.
