Been searching on here with symptoms of the truck, very poor fuel mileage, huge white cloud at start up in the morning (Unless its plugged in over night) Temp this morning was 65. lack of power at times. The thing these all had in common was threads about the Exhaust Back Pressure Value (EBPV). Going to unplug it as soon as I can find it. Just curious what you think. 1995 F250 standard 5 speed

Usually when the EBPV starts to affect things you will hear a whooshing type of sound when it closes and blocks the exhaust.

Your white cloud unless it is plugged in may be the glow plug relay or the plugs themselves. But neither of what you mentioned will cause bad fuel mileage.

Could also be the screen in the FPR, low fuel pressure due to bad pump or clogged filter. EBPV is a 2 wire plug on the bottom rear drivers side of the fuel filter housing if memory serves.

I think the OP mixed the EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve) and the EBPS ( exhaust back pressure sensor). The EBPS is the one that will give you bad mileage when the tube is clogged.

For you white smoke at start, check your GP's and the relay like Bugman said

Took the screen out of the FPR, not sure how any fuel was getting through there. Took out the EBPS and the sensor is plugged. Will take out the tube tomorrow and clean it.
When I took my tube out for cleaning I found it had two small pinholes. They were too small to see with a naked eye and the only way I found them was I had filled the tube with an oven cleaner and the fluid started spraying out the tiny pinholes.

(Oven cleaner is supposed to work for carbon buildup.)

Well cleaned the screen soaked it in brake fluid overnight and cleaned out the EBPS tube. Took it out today after cleaning and cannot tell you the numbers but went over 60 miles on less than what it used to take to go 12.
