So guys 99 f350, I had replaced the shoes on the passenger side after a rotor problem... forgot it on and got a pretty good smoke out lol. Well, I finally got around to doing the drivers side and went ahead and tightened the passenger side. The emergency brake works but it's pretty hard to press... is this normal?

Also I'm going to replace the switch on the ebrake pedal in hope my dash light works and reminds me not to burn any more shoes up lol. If there's anything I'm messing besides the ebrake pedal switch feel free to throw in some ideas. Thanks fellas

Fixed, $18 for a new switch at Napa. I'm pretty sure someone could sand the old one but with a 10 dollar coupon I couldn't resist. Now I guess the shoes will have to break in before the ebrake starts to feel softer and normal... at least they grab lol.
