When you do the delete, do you completely drain the coolant, like out of block and everything or just the radiator. And then what coolant should I put back in? It still has the motor craft gold in it..

I have not deleted the EGR, so I would only be guessing about that. If changing the coolant, do the delete right after draining the coolant. That will make the flush (and thermostat removal) much easier. I also did not bother with the block plug on the passenger side since it is so hard to get at.

My personal recommendation is to refill with an ELC. I use International Fleetrite NOAT. If you decide to change be sure to completely flush the gold out.

Yes, a full egr delete requires you to install block off's for the egr cooler coolant tubes. When you pull the lower tunes, it drains the coolant out of the block. And you must also drain the radiator.
