Just wondering what is the generally accepted temp for EGT before shutting down the engine. My pyro is pre-turbo and I have been waiting for it to get below 400 before shutting down. Is this too high and should I let it sit a bit longer? Thanks in advance!

I have been waiting tell the temp gets to about 360*, 400 is a little high.

I shut down at 350°F. After talking with worldwide73 and Band_Member, I now use the high idle for a few minutes, shut that off and wait about 20 seconds and it drops right in there.
