well i have a motor problem i found the #6 cylinder rocker arm laying in the cylinder head what would cause that?

What happened to the bolt that holds it in place. Is it laying in the head too or is it gone?

Now that I am looking I see that they are not bolted down. there is also a difference in early or late build. I think the best thing for me to do is wait for someone that has more experience in the 6.0 to answer your questions...in the meantime, it would help others if you update your signature. Just go to the "my account" at the top tool bar and then look on the left side for "update signature".
