Today while pulling my 7000# trailer, I was accelerating on flat ground away from a stop sign, when my truck started making the infamous turbo fart sound. It would not accellerate, it just sorta bucked and stalled I feathered the throttle a couple of times then if took off. I know that the sound is common while under quick de-accleration but this is the first time it has done it while putting power to the ground.
Is there anyone out here who has had the same problem?

unplug the egr ( for testing purposes ) to see if it quits, if so it only narrows it down to half a dozen possibilities, if not make it 2 dozen.

Took truck into Ford today. Tech says the turbo is bad. It was producing 29 pounds of boost when the Tech says should only be max 25. Will wait till tomorrow to see if Turbo is only problem.
Will keep you posted.
