On the way down to Dubuque,IA from my home which is only 13 miles I had no problems. I went to menards and such and finally filled up with diesel fuel at the Hyvee fuel station. I was about 3 miles from home and my truck just kept getting louder. I had it on cruise control and hit brake and then throttled on it and still the same loud noise. So I am curious as to what it may be. Is there possible water in the fuel or some backpressure I don't know of. I am straight piped all the way back and have my back pressure valve gutted. My filter is clean (AFE) and I looked at my turbo with inlet pipe off. I started it today June 11, 06, and turbo looks fine and engine runs quiet at idle. Has anybody experienced this. My wife heard the same thing. She said it didn't sound right. There was no knocking or pinging or anything, just a very loud constant moan or humm. Thanks in advance.

another vote for these, I've had both, and both do the same drone.
I also just put cab and body mounts on and got the drone when I got the cab a little too far forward and the corner of the drivers bank head was touching the heat shield on the firewall, that was the loudest of em all, was like I was sitting on top of the piston the fuel knock was so loud.
