[WINGTRANSPORT]

Well most of the time boost will run up to 34PSI at W.O.T. and be smooth and steady. However sometimes on gradual acceleration it will make less than 5psi and smoke like the devil, then every now and then under the same conditions it will strike up to 40PSI and pop pretty hard. Any idea what may be wrong?? Thank you in advance......

bad egr valve just take it off and clean it i think mine does the same thing

same problem I had on my first turbo,, nothing the dealer could do would help till they replaced the turbo,,

now on my third turbo,,

My first turbo did the same stuff. Hit 32psi while towing. That lasted 13k miles and then it gave up.
Tech said it was giving an overboost code.
New turbo on and it runs the same, just only 27psi of boost now pulling the same trailer.
