need help... removing the heads with cab on on a 03 f350 6.0
cant seem to get the evap housing to come out. i loosened all bolts i seen but still wont come out. it wiggles around a little but that's it. help would be great. also, do i have to drain the system of freon and if so is there an easy way for me to do it .

Life would be much easier if you would just pull the cab. But, You need to remove the freon to pull the evap. Most shops that do ac work will just charge you labor to suck the system down and refill it at a later date.
Once you pull the two halves of the ac box apart the evap will just pop out. once you remove the lines of course.
You need to remove the freon before you crack open a line. The ac system us under high pressure even when shut off. It can also cause frostbite if you let it vent off and your skin is near it.
