I managed to do it. Running down the dirt road and noticed a loud banging noise at every bump. Got home and crawled under and the mount has broke clear off of the spring pad. Anyone ever had this happen?

If you mean the mount that holds the spring to the frame yep sure have had to replace the back one on both sides

Mine are in bad shape too. Seems the rust has really gotten at them more than other things.

Sorry, fixed it before I could take pics. Mine wasn't from rust, it did it while I was driving down a dirt road.

I didn't replace the piece, just welded it back up. It made a nasty banging sound even when going down the highway, when you would drive over the relief cuts in the highway.

Got the old one off-can't get the bolt out of the shackle though-any thoughts? Was thinkin of burning it out and replacing the bushing and bolt?
