I was going west out of denver with TT, weight combined 16,000 lbs. Get going up, doing OK with O/D locked out able to maintain 50mph.

2-3 miles and all of a sudden my rpm's are down to 14-1500, and no power. Foot flat on the floor, it would not down-shift. Turn around at next exit and went back down to the house.

No lights, egt 1225, all temps normal I guess.

Tranny? Engine??

Appointment with ATS on Wednesday.

mine did the same thing, when it was almost new, mabye 7,000 miles, about 3000 miles from home towinn my old 24ft. tt. goinn up a really steep hill, goinn mabye 25mph. for like 1 hour, i had it in 1st. gear for mabye half of pull, it seemed to run out of breath, only 5000 pounds, after we crested the hill it was fine the rest of the trip. its never done it yet . 58,000 miles. i coulnt get it over 1500 rpms too.

Could be a leak in the intercooler boots or a bad map sensor.

Is your truck lifted at all? I lifted mine and it killed my hill pulling power. 4.10s on the way...

What was your boost level at? Sounds like you lost a boot or a boost leak somewhere, does the turbo seem to spool up ok?

Truck not lifted, turbo spools fine, runs decent on the flats.

It just acted like it shifted into O/D, really lugged it down.

One other thing I forgot, Edge Attitude display froze up, once I got turned around down the hill, it came back to life. ??

Just really seemed like tranny got hot and took a break. Agter it cooled off and back on the flats, acceleration and cruise seemed OK.
