hey all
i have a question question and please for give my ignorance coz i m still a little new to this. how exactly does and exhast brake work?
is the same as the big rig jakebrake?

The exhaust brakes used on our trucks (aftermarket or DIY) basically use exhaust backpressure to slow the engine (basically a butterfly valve to restrict exhaust flow). Jake brakes are completely different and are built into the valve train on the motors that use them. Cheers!
