I've just completed my struggle to replace the fuel filter drain valve on the water seperator and install ITP fuel return kit and fuel feed line kit into my van. I took it for a test drive last night w/o the doghouse on (the noise!) and noticed that I have several exhaust leaks as I had to remove the up pipes and turbo wye connector during install. I retorqued the marmon clamp between the exhaust wye connector and the turbo, but it still seems to be leaking. Is there any trick to getting this to not leak? since there is not gasket, it relies on the clamp pressure between the wye and the turbo, but I can't seem to get it to seal. Also, I've read on the forums that people have replace the stock ceramic donuts on the uppipes w/ ones from a small block chevy to stop leaks, does anyone have information on this or have tried it?

Thanks

Well, I fixed the clamp from leaking, I guess the trick is to get the truck and exhaust warmed up to operating temperature and then re-torque the marmon clamps. This cleared up the exhaust leak from what I could tell. Also, it is amazing how much noise insulation that the dog house cover has, I had to drive around w/ ear plugs while the cover was off /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
