Has anyone heard of them breaking off? Should we change these out (pre turbo) about every say 50,000 miles or so? I would hate to be out in the middle of no where and here that go through the turbo. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif But then again it would be nice to have a 03 turbo. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I almost posted the exact same question today. If you do a search you "Inconel" you'll find some good threads about this. Apparently these probes are pretty darn tough. I could not find any mention of anyone who's ever heard of a probe breaking off.
