I have a 97 single cab, flat bed truck. It has the rear tank behind the axle with the big sheild around it. The tail pipe will not fit because of the tank. The guy bought it with stacks and wants a single pipe under it. We have a mbrp system but wont fit. Does anyone make a kit of will I have to go custom. Thanks

Snap me some pics. My dad's truck is Snowball which is a cab/chassis but a van. I took the parts america super duty tailpipe and modified and it fits great!!

All our 250's & 350's have a rear tank with two skid plates on the bottom. Don't know what yours is like? How many gallons is the rear tank also?

My flatbed was bought as a cab/chassis but had no problems with the Tymar. I read there were differences with the cab/chassis trucks but I am not sure what exactly.

the fuel tanks on the cab and chassis don't go all the way to the back cross member it hangs down below the frame and also the frame on cab and chassis is narrower then the reguler trucks the tank still holds the same though about 19 gallons

Use chevy 350 rear axle pipes. You will have to shorten the drivers side by about 2" where it goes past the frame so it won't hit.

The chevy pipes work slick. They need to be 3" pipes.

My dp now opens to 4", 4" irragation pipe to the rear axle, reducer/splitter to 3" and the chevy pipes over the axle and around the tank and tire.

What kind of chevy pipes, ie what vehicle, where did you get them, and about how much did they cost?

Thanks

I didn't order them. Buddy of mine in MT did and then put my exhaust together when I got there.

All I know is they were a dual exhaust kit for a Chevy. They were 3" in DIa, My spare was in the way which made us have to cut and weld the drivers side pipe.

As far as cost I paid $250 installed from the DP back. I will look for the receipt to see what the cost of the pipe was.
