I have a 2004 E350 6.0 and I was wondering if F-series programmers would work on the E-series. I don't intend on hot rodding my van, my main focus is achieving better fuel economy (I drive my van like an old grandpa!). I know the E-series has thermal limitations, hence why Ford reduced power by 90 hp in van models compared to the pickup and excursion. I was looking at the Superchip 1704-A model and would run the "safe tow tune". Does anyone have experience tuning an E-series or have any suggestions on achieving better mpg? Thanks!
